Came here for brunch as a party of 6 on a Sunday morning. Our food and drinks came out pretty quickly. Overall everyone liked their food. Huevos rancheros is way too saucy but otherwise it’s very good. The veggie omelet seemed bland however everything is healthy, light and fresh.

The wait was worth it. The staff was super friendly. The shrimp burger was huge and delicious. My fam says the fish tacos are also perfect.

I had an amazing experience here! The food is really delicious! I ordered their 4 egg California Omelette which has avocado, ham, bacon, tomato, spinach, green onion and Monterey Jack cheese. I also cream cheese and berries on whole wheat toast that was out of this world amazing! For my beverage, I had a berries mimosas and iced water. The service here is very attentive and I highly recommend coming here. The portions are also generous. All food preparations are picture perfect in regards to aesthetics. So, when you dine here keep in mind that preparing really good and aesthetically pleasing food takes time.

A little on the pricey side but it shows in their quality. Great options for food and drinks. Very different from typical places if you are looking for something in the high class end. Definitely recommend. Got the potato taquitos and sunrise mimosa.

We had an awesome experience at El Bistro in Modesto! From the moment we walked in, the place had a warm and welcoming vibe. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered the chilaquiles, Nutella French toast, Café Mazapan, and the Dulce de Leche latte. Honestly, everything we had was delicious! The chilaquiles were full of flavor. The tortilla chips were perfectly crispy but still soaked up the tasty sauce just right. They had just the right amount of spice, and the eggs on top were cooked perfectly. The Nutella French toast was a dream—sweet, rich, and so satisfying. It was the kind of dish that you think about long after you’ve finished eating it. As for the drinks, both were amazing in their own way. The Café Mazapan had a sweet, nutty flavor that was different from anything we’ve ever tasted. It was smooth and comforting, especially with breakfast. The Dulce de Leche latte was creamy, sweet, and felt like a dessert in a cup. It wasn’t too strong, which was perfect for a morning treat. The service was fast, and everything came out hot and fresh. The vibe of the restaurant was relaxed but still had a modern feel. We really enjoyed everything about our visit—from the food to the atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. If you’re in Modesto and love good food and coffee, you have to check out El Bistro!

Ok the food was amazing I only gave a 4 star because the drinks were super sweet and it felt like they had no alcohol. I would definitely return for an amazing meal and honestly the ambiance of the entire place is chic and welcoming. Very cute maybe just work on the drinks from the bartender. Service was excellent and prompt I will definitely be back to try a few more options on the menu. The chili relleno was bold and definitely the best I've had in a very long time. My friend has a birria bacon burger and honestly I couldn't imagine putting that in a burger at first but it was fire! Everything was so good a must try!
